Battle of Cork
In 1916, the Easter Rising was crushed by British troops. All organizers of the uprising were executed. Despite this, the idea of separation from Britain did not lose its relevance in Ireland. Two years later, Republicans from the Sinn Fein party won the parliamentary elections, winning 73 out of 113 seats. In early 1919, the Republicans met in Dublin to declare an independent Republic of Ireland. The British government parliament refused to recognize the legitimacy of the Republic of Ireland, which was the reason for the start of hostilities with the participation of the newly formed Irish Republican Army (IRA). This game tells about the city of Cork, for which there were fierce battles throughout the Irish War of Independence, and as a result of which, Cork was dilapidated and depleted. However, the role of Cork in the war cannot be underestimated, thanks to the diversion of British troops, the Allies in the north had the opportunity to expand the front, and make significant victories, which made it possible to achieve the signing of the independence treaty in 1921.
That's my first released game. This game made for Historically Accurate Game-Jam 7. That's little buggy, but i think, this made it more playable.
Game created for fullscreen mode.
